Ladybugs Garden Club Of Lilburn

lady bug members

Ladybugs of Lilburn Garden Club started in 1989. They currently have 10 members who maintain and beautify 11 gardens, plus 2 sculpture gardens along the Greenway Trail, which spans 4 miles from Killian Hill to Rockbridge Road. The trail is built on a floodplain. Camp Creek flows alongside the gardens, which is lovely but occasionally causes flooding issues on the trail and in our gardens. In 2007, former City of Lilburn Mayor Jack Bolton started the creation of the Lilburn Greenway Trail. Phase 2 was completed under the leadership of Former City of Lilburn Mayor Diana Preston. In 2010, the Ladybugs began the huge task of creating the gardens along the trail. Thankfully, the City of Lilburn is a big supporter by giving us the use of their Kubota Plus funds every year. Please visit our Facebook  page, Ladybugs Garden Club of Lilburn, to see the gardens and updates.
