Text Amendment & Map Amendment to Lilburn Zoning Ordinance and the Lilburn Zoning Map

To amend the Lilburn Zoning Ordinance and Lilburn Zoning Map. Amendments include the naming of Town Center Overlay District to Old Town Overlay District, and to modify references in all related code sections including but not limited to Articles 2 through 8, to amend text to clarify permitted uses in Article 6, Section 601, and to amend the requirements for initiation of zoning actions in Article 10, Section 1003.

RZ-2022-02 & SUP-2022-02

Application by APC Contractors Inc. c/o Alliance Engineering and Planning to rezone 4952, 4942, 4932, 4922, 4912, 4902, 4898, 4892, Young St, Lilburn, GA 30047 also recorded as District 6, Land Lot 135, Parcels 051, 052, 053, 054, 055, 056, 057, 058, 059, and 060. Applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 3.44 +/- acres from R1 Residential to R-2 Medium Density Residential. Applicant is concurrently requesting Special Use Permit to allow development of 30 Owner Occupied Single-Family attached townhomes. The lots are all within the Town Center Overlay District in Old Town Lilburn.
