City of Lilburn Tree Walk

Saturday, October 24, 2020

Take a guided tour through Lilburn City Park with Certified Arborist who will be identifying native trees in our community.

Join us as we "Celebrate Trees" in honor of National Arbor Day. Certified Arborist with the Georgia Forestry Commission will lead a guided tour in Lilburn City Park and on Camp Creek Greenway, identifying native trees in our community.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. in the Gartrell Nash Pavilion at Lilburn City Park.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Karen Shires and Jennifer Langley of Providence Christian Academy.

The event is rain or shine so grab your rain boots and a colorful umbrella.
If severe weather should occur, the event will be moved to The Preston meeting room at Lilburn City Hall-Library, located at 340 Main Street.

Attendees are welcome to bring a drink and sack lunch and enjoy a picnic in the park after the event.

Special thanks to the Lilburn Ladybugs, Conservation Specialist Susan Meyers, and Certified Arborists Susan Granbery and Dale Higdon for volunteering their time to help make this event a success.
