Join the Lilburn Police Department at one of the largest National Night Out neighborhood events in Georgia!

The Lilburn Police Department and City of Lilburn are proud to host Lilburn's National Night Out in Lilburn City Park on Tuesday, August 5 from 6-8 p.m.  This year marks the 5th anniversary for this FREE event, which has grown to be one of the largest in the state of Georgia!

National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to generate citizen support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and build police-community relationships.  The City of Lilburn and Lilburn Police Department would like to thank our partner SafetySmart Lilburn for assisting with our Lilburn event.

Program
6:00 p.m. Welcome and introductions from band shell
Welcome - Captain Mike Johnson
Reading of Proclamation - Mayor Johnny Crist
6:00 p.m. Scavenger hunt begins
Home Depot activity begins
6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Chick-fil-A cow walking in crowd and handing out coupons
6:15 - 6:25 p.m. First demonstration at band shell (Reporting suspicious behavior)
6:30 p.m. Helicopters arrive in main field
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Gwinnett Braves mascot, Chopper to circulate in the crowd
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Donated food and water vendors open (while supplies last) throughout park and pavilion
7:00 - 7:10 p.m. Second demonstration at band shell (Explorers felony stop demonstration)
7:30 - 7:40 p.m. Third demonstration at band shell (Dangers of hot vehicles)
7:50 p.m. Helicopters leave
8:00 p.m. Exhibitor booths close
8:00 p.m. K9 demonstrations begin in main field

General Information
•  Please stop by the registration tent or see a volunteer to get a wristband before visiting food vendors.
•  Kids may participate in a scavenger hunt throughout the event, which encourages them to visit various exhibitors and learn about safety.
•  Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. Must be present at event to claim door prize.  Those not claimed by 7:45 p.m. will be forfeited.
