The City Council, by 4-0 unanimous votes, approved:
- The first reading of Ordinance No. 2024-622, which enables new city council members to be sworn in as early as Jan. 1 following a municipal election. The ordinance will be considered again at the March 11 council meeting.
- Ordinance No. 2023-619, an amendment to City Code Chapter 6 that allows wine shops to operate as businesses
