Most Residential and Commercial Annual Notices of Assessment for 2024 will be mailed in April. They can also be downloaded from the Tax Assessors’ website at Gwinnett-Assessor.com. An Annual Notice of Assessment is not a tax bill. The notice informs you of the value assessed on your residential or commercial real estate as of January 1, 2024.
Property owners may appeal the assessed value within 45 days of the date of the notice by submitting a completed PT-311A form online or by mail. Mailed forms must be received or postmarked within 45 days of the date of your notice. It is suggested if mailing to send the documents by a trackable method to confirm delivery.
