[ARCHIVED] City Response To Hurricane Helene

City Hall and related facilities have closed for the day and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

The city stands ready to address all storm-related issues caused by Hurricane Helene as it impacts our town this evening and throughout the night.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to subscribe for free news and emergency alerts on the city website.

Updates will be sent to subscribers, posted on our Facebook pages and website the entirety of this weather event.

Our Public Works crews and police officers will address affected areas accordingly. Their priority will be to clear roads and maintain public safety. Any damage to the City Park and Camp Creek Greenway Trail network will be addressed later.
