Recently, the City Council granted approval for City Park drainage improvements to be made. The city wants to make you aware that the project start date is approaching soon. This is to provide awareness that, within the next three weeks, the park playground will be closed to start drainage improvements.
The facilities, pavilions, restrooms and the remaining portions of the City Park will remain open. This project will only impact the playground, which will remain closed until Spring 2025.
Updates will be provided throughout the project process. The city will also provide an exact closure date as soon as it becomes available. The city appreciates your patience.
