April 21st Town Hall Recap

At last week’s monthly town hall meeting, the Mayor provided residents with an update on several ongoing development projects shaping the future of our city. The discussion was lively and engaging, reflecting the community’s deep investment in local affairs.

Topics raised by residents included the city’s approach to addressing the unhoused, the status of both current and past code enforcement cases, and an exciting proposal for a potential car show this fall.

The evening also featured moments of appreciation, as one resident commended the police department for offering out-of-town home checks during vacations—a valued service that brings peace of mind to many. Another resident praised Code Enforcement Officer McCord for her dedication and professionalism, recognizing their positive impact on the community.

As always, the town hall served as a meaningful space for open dialogue and collaboration between city leadership and residents.
