The Lilburn Loop: August 4

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today is the first day of school for Gwinnett County Public Schools, and we want to wish all the students, teachers, and staff a fantastic start to the year! Whether you're walking, riding the bus, or getting dropped off, we hope it's a smooth and exciting day. Let's all do our part to keep our roads safe—especially in school zones!

Thank You for Coming to Rock the Park!

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make Rock the Park a rockin’ success! From the music to the food to the community vibes—we had a great time and we hope you did too! A big shoutout to our performers, vendors, and staff who made the evening unforgettable. Lilburn knows how to have fun, and we can’t wait to do it again!

Vendors Needed

Help us bring the Halloween magic to Main Street! We’re looking for local businesses to join the fun by passing out candy or hosting a spooky (or silly!) activity during our fall event. It’s a fang-tastic way to connect with the community—no merchandise sales, just festive fun!  Sign Up

Food Truck Tuesday is tomorrow, August 5, at the corner of First & Main from 12 to 7 p.m. (Note: New hours start in August!) Come enjoy delicious bites from Jbros Food Truck Atlanta—perfect for lunch, dinner, or both.

And don’t forget to mark your calendars for next week—Tuesday, August 12—when Food Truck Tuesday heads to Lilburn City Park for even more flavor and fun with music by Shane Clark! Food trucks will include:

  • Savory: A Little Naughty, Flavor on the Fork, Jamaican Treasure Jerk, Gyro Chef, Dot Bowl;
  • Sweet: Repiccis Ice, King of Pops
