This effort is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming community for everyone who lives, works, and visits Lilburn. Excessive vehicle noise can be disruptive to neighborhoods and businesses, and addressing it helps preserve the quality of life we all value.

First and Main Assemblage Update
Work is underway at the First Avenue and Main Street assemblage, a public-private partnership led by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) to support future investment in Old Town Lilburn. Crews are preparing the 2.61-acre site for a mixed-use development, which is planned to include commercial space along Main Street and residential units along Velva Way.
Lewis Contracting Services began site work in early November, and crews are installing underground storm utilities. Site development is expected to continue through mid-summer 2026. As this project moves forward, all plans and renderings remain conceptual and subject to change. Updates will continue to be shared as progress is made. This project represents another step toward reinvestment in Old Town, and the city will continue to keep the community informed as work progresses.
