[ARCHIVED] Advanced Disposal message to customers

Advanced Disposal will no longer have two separate trucks to pick up leaves and recycling. Starting Dec. 8, 2015, one truck will pick up both. The truck has two compartments, and a worker will separate the yard waste from the recycling items.

Pickup will occur in the early morning on the assigned garbage collection day. Customers are advised to set out their recycling and yard waste the previous night or before 6:30 a.m. on the day of collection.

In addition, glass is no long accepted in the recycling bin. Continue to recycle paper, junk mail, magazines, newspaper, plastics #1-7, aluminum and steel cans, and cardboard. Click here for more information.

Residential customers in the City of Lilburn receive refuse collection service at a reduced rate, which the City of Lilburn has contracted through Advanced Disposal. New customers should contact Lilburn City Hall at 770-921-2210 or email khill@cityoflilburn.com to set up an account.
