City Services Update:
The City of Lilburn has been actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) and has been in contact with numerous other agencies regarding the subject. The safety and well-being of our employees, residents, and community are of the utmost importance. Therefore, the city is implementing several changes to our business practices in an effort to provide the recommended social distancing and to limit social interaction. The city remains committed to continuing to provide the level of service our residents expect and appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time. We strongly encourage residents to follow the health safety guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
City Facilities Closed to the Public:
5/12/2020 Update: Lilburn City Hall and other city administrative offices will reopen to the public beginning on May 14, 2020. Frequently used surfaces are being cleaned regularly and the public is encouraged to wear face masks, maintain social distancing, and practice other recommended safety precautions if visiting city facilities. Please remember that many questions may be answered and various forms are available on the city’s website.
Lilburn City Hall and other City Administrative Offices (Lilburn Police Department, Lilburn Municipal Court, and the Public Works building) are temporarily closed to the general public. City facilities will remain closed to the public until after May 13, 2020. Additional information is provided below.
Note: Early voting for the May 19 Special Election will take place at Lilburn City Hall, April 27, 2020 through May 15, 2020, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Voters may also vote on Election Day, May 19, 2020, at Lilburn City Hall from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Lilburn City Hall:
Essential operations of city hall will continue until further notice. Walk-ins will not be accepted, and limited essential services will be available by appointment only. Employees will rotate shifts at each facility to minimize contact per the CDC’s recommendation of social distancing. Employees who can perform their responsibilities from home are doing so. All staff will remain available to assist residents and businesses to the best of our abilities while minimizing contact. Many communications will be performed remotely through email, telephone, or online submittal. We encourage residents to visit cityoflilburn.com, as many questions may be answered and various forms are available on the website.

Lilburn Police Department:
5/13/2020 Update: Fingerprinting services will be available starting on May 14, 2020. All applicants are required to bring and wear a mask while undergoing fingerprinting. Background checks will also be available as of May 14, 2020.
The Lilburn Police Department remains committed to continuing to provide exemplary service to our residents. If you have an emergency, please dial 911. As a safety precaution, the police department is suspending requests for background checks, fingerprinting, and car seat checks until further notice. 4/8/2020 Update: Due to an extension of the statewide judicial emergency, City of Lilburn Municipal Court has cancelled court sessions through May, 13, 2020. Order Extending Declaration of Statewide Judicial Emergency

5/1/2020 Update: Lilburn City Council meetings will continue to be held virtually until after May 13, 2020 (per local state of emergency order). Public Hearings will also be held virtually until after May 13, 2020.

Lilburn City Park:
5/12/2020 Update (edited 5/13/2020): The Lilburn City Park field, playground, and restroom building will reopen to the public on May 14, 2020. The public is encouraged to continue to maintain social distancing and practice other recommended safety precautions.Click here for information about cloth face coverings.
5/1/2020 Update: The playground, field, drinking fountains, and restroom building will remain closed to the public until after May 13, 2020.
The Lilburn City Park playground, drinking fountains, field, and restroom building are currently closed. Please refrain from using the playground area as the equipment is not regularly sanitized.

Advanced Disposal Services will not collect bulk items or garbage bags outside of the cart until further notice. This precautionary measure has been implemented to protect employees as the virus can survive on some objects from inside the home for 72 hours or more.
