Timothy W. Dunn was sworn in as Mayor of the City of Lilburn this afternoon at Lilburn City Hall. City Attorney Richard Carothers administered the oath of office per the City Charter.
Dunn, who was running unopposed for the office of Mayor, was to be included on the ballot during a Special Election to be held on May 19, 2020. Prior to being elected Mayor, Dunn served on the Planning Commission for two years and on the Lilburn City Council from 2007 to 2020. "I’m confident that he will lead the city though the current challenges we face and continue to guide the city in a positive direction."
The City of Lilburn will hold a Special Election on May 19, 2020 to fill the vacancy of Lilburn City Council Post 4.
