The Lilburn Police Department is investigating the death of a young woman whose body was found early Thursday near Lilburn Industrial Boulevard.
A surveyor reported finding the body in a wooded area off Lilburn Industrial. The body of the woman has not been identified. The Lilburn Police Department is working with local jurisdictions to conduct an investigation. The Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office is on scene.
Capt. Thom Bardugon is available at the scene. Approaching news crews should enter Lilburn Industrial via Killian Hill.
