Text Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance Passed

The City of Lilburn reviewed and approved the proposed text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance, which included the combination of the Board of Adjustments and the Zoning Board of Appeals. Vote: 4-0.

Approval of Supplemental 911 Agreement with Gwinnett County

Gwinnett County E911 provides direct dispatch to the Lilburn Police Department per the intergovernmental agreement between the county and the city. The City Council approved the supplemental agreement enabling the city to be reimbursed for eligible expenses related to upgrades (software/hardware) necessary to remain compatible with the 911 system. Vote: 4-0.

Other Business and Upcoming Events  

• The February Mayor's Town Hall Meeting will be a pre-recorded video accessible to all citizens on the city website.
• The Lilburchaun Parade will be held on March 13, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
• The Downtown Lilburn Spring Cornhole League begins on March 18, 2021.
