Sparkle in the Park on July 4th

You'll find food, fun, and fireworks in Lilburn City Park on July 4th! Children's activities and food vendors open at 5:30 p.m. Get your free family souvenir picture, courtesy of Shatterproof Media, while supplies last. The Glow Band takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. and the spectacular fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. Thank you to Gold Sponsors; Precision Planning, Inc., iHeartMedia/El Patron 105.3, and Shatterproof Media, LLC. Hands Free Law

Put your cell phone down!

As of July 1, drivers in Georgia can no longer have their cell phone in their hand or support their phone with any part of their body while driving. Drivers may only hold their phone when the vehicle is lawfully parked. For more information about the Hands Free Law, click here

The Lilburn Police Department is busy planning their annual National Night Out event. This year's event will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 6-8:30 p.m., at Plaza Las Americas on Pleasant Hill Road. Meet officers from Lilburn and other areas, learn about safety, and see the vehicles and equipment the officers use!
