Register for Citizen's Police Academy

Application deadline for the 2019 Citizen's Police Academy is February 15. This 13-week program is designed to educate and inform citizens about issues that face law enforcement efforts in the city. The academy begins on February 21 and will meet on Thursday nights, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Registrants must attend 10 of the 13 classes. The instruction is comprehensive, with a separate area of the department being covered each week. Mayor's Town Hall Meeting

Lilburn residents are invited to attend the Mayor's Town Hall Meeting on Monday, February 18. This casual meeting is a great opportunity to ask Mayor Crist about current and upcoming projects in the city. The meeting is 7 to 8 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Lilburn City HallClick here for more information on current construction projects.

Camp Creek

Lilburn Stream Cleanup

Gwinnett County Water Resources is looking for volunteers to assist in removing litter and invasive plant species from Camp Creek. The cleanup will take place on Saturday, February 23, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the Gartrell Nash Pavilion in Lilburn City Park. Adopt-a-Stream in Lilburn

Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful has partnered with the Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources to offer the Adopt-a-Stream program. This FREE volunteer water quality initiative gives residents the opportunity to monitor the health of local streams and collect water quality data. With all supplies and training being provided by GC&B and GC DWR, this is a great opportunity for you and your group to have a positive impact on the environment. Celebrate St. Paddy's

Celebrate St. Paddy's on Saturday, March 16 in Lilburn City Park. A bagpipe player and leprechaun stilt walker will lead guests in a parade around the park! This family friendly event will include live entertainment and prizes will be awarded for the best leprechaun look-alikes, also known as the first ever Lilburchauns!
The event starts at 4 p.m. and the parade in the park will begin at 4:15 p.m. Click here for more event details.
