Free hazardous waste workshop

Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources is offering a free household hazardous waste management workshop on April 11 from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Lilburn City Hall. Attendees will learn how to identify, manage, and dispose of household hazardous materials in their home. Attendees may also qualify for a 5% credit on their Stormwater Utility Fee. Egg hunt in Lilburn City Park

Annual egg hunt

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place in Lilburn City Park on Saturday, April 13. This popular event will include a petting zoo, inflatables, and an Easter Bunny photo opportunity. Children up to age 12, will be divided into age categories and will take turns collecting eggs in the park. The event starts at 10 a.m., with the egg hunts beginning at 11 a.m. Food and beverages will be available for sale.

Upcoming Town Hall Meetings

Residents are invited to attend two Town Hall Meetings in April. Representative Dr. Jasmine Clark and Gwinnett County District 2 Commissioner Ben Ku will host a Town Hall Meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 15. Following this meeting will be the Mayor's Town Hall Meeting from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both meetings will take place in the shared meeting room on the first floor of Lilburn City Hall-Library. FREE car seat check event

The Lilburn Police Department is hosting a FREE car seat checkup event on Saturday, April 27 at Lilburn City Hall. Nationally certified technicians will be on-site to show you how to properly install car seats and booster seats. They will also check seats already installed. This event will be held in the parking lot at Lilburn City Hall-Library, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No appointment necessary!

Celebrate Arbor Day at Tree Walk

Join the city as we celebrate trees in honor of National Arbor Day at the City of Lilburn Tree Walk. Professionals will lead a free guided tour through Lilburn City Park and Camp Creek Greenway on Saturday, April 27 at 10 a.m. After the walk, children's activities will be offered at the Gartrell Nash Pavilion. Downtown Lilburn Lil' Crawl

Downtown Lilburn is hosting it's first Downtown Lilburn Lil' Crawl on Saturday, April 27! Participants, age 21 and over, will make three walkable stops at 1910 Public House Restaurant, Agavero Cantina Parkside, and Hope Springs Distillery. The event concludes with a concert at Music On Main Street. Tickets are $15 each and include one drink voucher, entry to the concert, and an event t-shirt. Click here for details.
