The City of Lilburn, Georgia (‘City”) will receive sealed Bids for all material, labor, equipment and services to successfully accomplish the following work: “Bryson Park/Hood Road Realignment at Lawrenceville Highway (US 29/SR 8)”. This work generally entails grading, demolition, new roadway pavement, curb & gutter, retaining walls, drainage, storm water pond, sidewalks, striping, signage, signal installation including mast arms. Bids shall be on unit price basis. Project is funded with SRTA GTIB, Gwinnett County and City SPLOST funding. ***Update July 13, 2023: Please include the attached Addenda Acknowledgment Form as the first page of bid packet. Please include Bid Tabulation Sheet as the second page of bid packet.***

The Prime Bidder MUST be pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation in order to submit a bid on this project. Documentation must be provided to the City which reflects projects similar to the project herein was performed by the Prime Bidder. Refer to the bid package for additional clarification on project experience.

All Work performed for this project will be in accordance with the Georgia Dept. of Transportation (GDOT) Standard Specifications for Construction of Transportation Systems, 2001 Edition, any modifications identified in the Bid or Contract document, Special Provisions and the plan set prepared by Kimley Horn, on behalf of the Lilburn Community Improvement District. The Prime Bidder shall be responsible for performing with their own organization at least Sixty percent (60%) of the Work in this contract. The Prime Bidder shall not subcontract, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of the contract or any portion thereof, without the written consent of the CITY.
