A Pawn Shop / Precious Metals Clerk Permit is required for anyone working in a pawn shop or precious metals and gems dealer inside the City of Lilburn, and can be obtained from the Business Services Manager, located at:
City Hall, 1st Floor
340 Main St.
Lilburn, GA 30047
No appointment needed. There is a charge of $25 that can be paid with cash, check, money order, or debit/credit cards (processing fee applied). Applicant must present valid United States issued photo identification (such as state-issued driver’s license, state-issued ID card, or passport). A criminal history will be checked on all applicants.

A Short-Term Rental is a rental lasting 30 days or less. Please complete and/or submit the following to the Business Services Department.
- New Business License Application
- Short Term Rental Permit/Certificate of Compliance, on initial application and renewed annually
- Certificate of Insurance, to be provided initially and annually
- Legal Entity, if applicable
- Proof of ownership
- 24-hour contact must be provided
- Payment of lodging accommodation tax, monthly
A Taxi Permit is required for anyone operating a taxi inside the City of Lilburn, and can be obtained from the Business Services Manager, located at:
