Park Rules

Please follow these simple rules to keep the park safe and enjoyable for all.

  • Park hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 pm.
  • Organized sports practices and games are NOT permitted.
  • Cleats and hard sports balls (baseballs, golf balls, footballs, etc.) are NOT permitted.
  • Motorized vehicles are NOT permitted, except for motorized wheelchairs.
  • Fires are restricted to park grills.
  • Pyrotechnics and motor-powered models or toys are NOT permitted.
  • Children under 10 must be supervised by an adult.
  • No bikes, skateboards, motorized toys, or vehicles inside playground area.
  • Alcohol is not permitted inside park unless purchased from one of our Old Town businesses and is in the plastic or paper cup provided by them.

Pets:

  • All pets must be on a leash.
  • Place bagged animal waste in designated containers.
  • NO pets allowed inside playground area.

Trail Use:

  • Keep right except to pass.
  • Pedestrians have the right-of-way.
  • Announce yourself as you approach from behind.
  • Control bike and skate speeds to prevent unsafe conditions.
  • We strongly encourage the use of safety helmets
  • Motorized vehicles are NOT permitted, except for motorized wheelchairs.

Other Rules:

  • NO Smoking/Vaping
  • NO Littering
  • NO Throwing items or playing in decorative fountain.
  • NO Profanity
  • NO Amplified sound (microphones, speakers, etc.)
  • NO Firework products
  • NO Damage to property or plants
  • NO Soliciting
  • NO Weapons, except as permitted by City Code Sec. 46-32
  • NO Metal detectors OR digging
