Department Overview & Responsibilities
The Executive Department provides leadership, direction, and administrative oversight for all city operations. Under the guidance of the City Manager and in partnership with the Mayor and City Council, the Executive Department works to implement policies, manage city services, and ensure the efficient delivery of programs that support the needs of Lilburn’s residents, businesses, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating day-to-day operations across all city departments
- Developing and managing the annual budget
- Advising elected officials and implementing Council decisions
- Overseeing strategic planning and long-term community development
- Facilitating communication with residents, businesses, and regional partners
