Update from Special Called Meeting Held February 24
Last week, the Mayor and Council adopted a resolution requesting the State Legislature pass local legislation to increase the city’s homestead exemption for seniors from $10,000 to $50,000. The legislation also caps the city’s portion of the property tax bill of an owner-occupied home to 8% annually. View the Notice of Intent.
Update from Special Called Work Session Held March 1
This past Saturday morning, a special called work session was held. The Mayor and Council met to establish their goals and priorities for the next five years.
