Irrigation Project Complete in Lilburn Park

You may have noticed irrigation work taking place in the park over the last couple of weeks. The project is now complete, which means you can look forward to a healthier lawn with lush green grass and fewer weeds. The number of people enjoying Lilburn Park shows just how much our community values time outdoors together. City staff is always exploring ways to enhance the park and create a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

Railroad Avenue Project Update

Construction continues to move forward on Railroad Avenue. The final section of the parking deck is currently being erected, with completion expected in about a week and a half. Inside the deck, crews are installing fire sprinklers, caulking, and wrapping up final punch list items.

On the multifamily side, framing is underway throughout the site, including the podium and leasing office areas, while plumbing and electrical work continue inside the apartments. With three cranes on-site, materials are moving quickly as progress continues.

The greenway trail in this area is now open, so residents can once again enjoy this scenic connection through Old Town.
