Elections
The City Clerk oversees municipal elections within the city, which are typically held in odd-numbered years. Voting for the mayor and city council members takes place at Lilburn City Hall, located at 340 Main St., regardless of county polling locations. Only residents of the incorporated City of Lilburn are eligible to participate in municipal elections, and voters must be registered with the State of Georgia.

NOTICE OF QUALIFYING DATES FOR CITY OF LILBURN MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that a General Election for the City of Lilburn will be held on November. 4, 2025, at Lilburn City Hall, 340 Main Street, Lilburn, GA, for the two council seats. (Posts 3 & 4).
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Sec. 21-2-132(c)(3)(A), all persons who desire to run for office shall qualify in the office of the Municipal Superintendent, on the second floor of City of Lilburn City Hall, beginning August 18, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. and ending August 20, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
The qualifying fee for council members is $189. The last day to register and be eligible to vote in this election will be October 6, 2025. Advanced (Absentee In-Person) voting begins on October 14 through October 31, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The polls will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. This said notice is given to satisfy the requirements of O.C.G.A. Sec. 21-2-132(d)(3).

AVISO DE FECHAS DE CALIFICACIÓN PARA LAS ELECCIONES GENERALES MUNICIPALES DE LA CIUDAD DE LILBURN
Por la presente se notifica que se llevará a cabo la Eleccion General para la Ciudad de Lilburn el día 4 de noviembre de 2025 en la Municipalidad de Lilburn, 340 Main Street, Lilburn, GA, para elegir a dos miembros del consejo (Puestos 3 y 4).
De conformidad con O.C.G.A. Sec. 21-2-132(c)(3)(A), todas las personas que deseen postular a un cargo deberán calificar en la oficina del Superintendente Municipal, ubicada en el segundo piso de la Municipalidad de la Ciudad de Lilburn, a partir del 18 de agosto de 2025, a las 8:30 a.m., hasta el día 20 de agosto de 2025 a las 4:30 p.m.
La tarifa de calificación para ser miembro del consejo es de $189. El último día para registrarse y ser elegible para votar en esta elección será el 6 de octubre de 2025. La votación anticipada (Ausente en persona) es del 14 al 31 de octubre a las 8:30 a.m.a 5:00 p.m. Las urnas estarán abiertas el día de las elecciones a partir de las 7:00 a.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. Este aviso se da para satisfacer los requisitos de O.C.G.A. Sec. 21-2-132(d)(3).
