Leaf Season Reminder: Yard Debris Guidelines
With fall just around the corner, please remember how to properly handle leaves and other yard debris.
According to City Code:
Yard waste such as leaves, grass clippings, and branches should never be blown or raked into the street, storm drains, or ditches.
This debris can clog the drainage system and cause flooding or water pollution.
Instead, collect yard waste and dispose of it properly on your regular trash pick-up day or consider composting.
By following these guidelines, you’re helping to keep Lilburn safe, clean, and beautiful!
For more details, visit the City Code of Ordinances.
