Budget Approved for FY 2020/2021

Lilburn City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2020/2021 budget ordinance. This follows a public hearing that was held on June 8, 2020.

The city adopts balanced budgets for six funds. The FY 2020/2021 annual budgets for the City of Lilburn includes $8,657,180 for the General Fund, $2,630,608 for the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST), $922,086 for the Capital Projects Fund, $1,000 for the Confiscated Assets Fund, $21,600 for the Tax Allocation District Fund, and $78,100 for the School Zone Safety Fund.

Fiscal Year 2020/2021 begins on July 1, 2020 and ends on June 30, 2021. Vote: 4-0

Millage Rate

The city held the first of three public hearings regarding the 2020 millage rate. The millage rate of 4.43 is scheduled to be approved at the July 13, 2020 Lilburn City Council meeting.
