Title Ad Valorem Tax (TAVT) Intergovernmental Agreement

City Council approved an Intergovernmental Agreement for the allocation and distribution of proceeds from the Title Ad Valorem Tax. Mayor Johnny Crist was authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Lilburn. Vote: 3-0 

Lilburn CID adds properties

City Council approved the expansion of the boundaries of the Lilburn Community Improvement District (Lilburn CID) to include additional properties. A map identifying the new properties can be viewed in the attached meeting agenda. To learn more about the Lilburn CID, visit Vote: 3-0

Moratorium extended 

Upon city staff recommendation, City Council approved Resolution #2019-05, which extended the original 60 day moratorium on businesses selling alternative nicotine products. The extension runs through July 8, 2019. This additional time will allow for proper discussion and research. Vote: 3-0

TSP Tower approved

City Council approved a new Telecommunications Tower and Tall Structure Permit for 306 Luxomni Road. The tower meets all of the required criteria and the applicant provided supplemental evidence that there are no other existing structures within the area that could meet T-Mobile's wireless infrastructure coverage needs through co-location. There was no objection from the public. Vote: 3-0

  • The following upcoming city events were announced; Lilburn Food Truck Tuesday on May 14, 21, & 28, Wynne-Russell House Tour on May 18, Lilburn Police Department - Women's Self Defense Program on May 22 & 23, Rock the Park - Yacht Rock Schooner on June 1, and Sprinkler Day on June 5.
