More… Proclamations are generally used for: • Nonprofit organizations, public awareness campaigns, arts and cultural celebrations. • Special honors (Recommendations by the Mayor and/or members of the City Council) Proclamations will not be issued for: • Events or organizations that are commercial, promotional, for-profit, or political. • Proclamations will not be issued for celebrations that are not held within the City of Lilburn. • Campaign or events contrary to city policies. Special notes: • If your request does not meet guidelines, the Mayor reserves the right to decline request or edit the language. • You will be notified if you request has been approved or denied within 14 business days. • An organization may request only one proclamation annually.
