Responsibilities

The City of Lilburn’s Merit Board is not currently active but remains in place to serve any remaining employees who are still covered under the merit system. While the majority of city employees are now governed by at-will employment practices, the Merit Board must continue to exist to fulfill its responsibilities for legacy merit-system positions.
