Last night, the City Council approved:
- By a 4-0 vote, Resolution No. 2024-03, adoption of the modified 2024 Comprehensive Plan, a state-mandated, long-range document that provides guidelines for a community’s growth. Last month, the Council changed a chapter in the original updated proposal, which required Council’s readoption of the document.
- By a 3-1 vote, Resolution No. 2024-04, a Resolution that includes all bond documents required for bond validation and issuance for a public/private parking deck, an anchor of the proposed Railroad Avenue project.
- A special-use permit for the location of an auto and truck service center at 621 Indian Trail Lilburn Road.
- The appointment of Councilmember Scott Batterton as Mayor Pro Tem.
