Recap: 10/13 Council Meeting

At the October 13 City Council meeting, all items on the agenda were approved, with the exception of a contract to replace and expand the turf on the playground in City Park. The cost for the work exceeds the budget by nearly $80,000, and the Mayor and Council requested a staff presentation to better understand how the expansion of the playground area and inclusion of a few new amenities for kids fit in the big picture for the expansion of City Park. Staff will present this information on Monday, November 10, at the 6:30 p.m. City Council Work Session. Please join us to learn more about park maintenance and expansion plans!
