The City of Lilburn is committed to having a transparent government easily accessible by the public. Here are a few of the ways we make sure our operations are clear and open:
- Maintain the city website and Facebook pages with current news, information and events.
- Provide an opportunity for residents to receive online notifications, including bidding and purchasing notices.
- Post meeting times, agendas, and minutes online for City Council meetings and other boards and commissions.
- Provide information for submission of open records requests to the city clerk, who is the official records custodian for the city.
- Provide budgets and financial reports online.
- Publish and mail the city newsletter to every residence and business in the city.
- Answer residents’ questions at the mayor’s bi-annual Town Hall meeting as well other city-related affairs. See the calendar of events for details.
- Welcome public comment at City Council meetings. Contact the city clerk at 770-921-2210 to find out how to speak at a public meeting.
